Truman Heritage Weatherization Program

Are you a City of Independence homeowner in need of:

• Furnace Repair/ Replacement
• Central A/C Replacement (if Compressor isn’t Working)
• Weatherstripping/ Caulking
• Furnace Filter Replacement
• Water Heater Replacement
• Water Heater Insulation Pipe Wrap
• Low-Flow Faucet Aerators/ Showerhead
• Minor Repairs to Reduce Air Drafts
• Attic Insulation

If you answered YES to some or all of the above items you may be eligible for FREE home weatherization services through Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity funded by the Independence Power & Light and Spire Energy.

Basic Requirements:

• • Income eligibility
• • Must be a homeowner
• • Must be current IPL and Spire customer
• • Willing to contribute 20 hours of sweat equity (volunteer service)
• • Funding is limited and awarded on a first come first serve basis
