Ready to Go Over the Edge for Families?
Have you ever dreamed of rappelling off of a tall building in a single bound?
Here’s your chance to go over the edge for an incredible cause. Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity has partnered with Over The Edge to bring a rappelling experience to Kansas City while raising funds for families in Eastern Jackson County. Affordable, safe and healthy housing including financial literacy, nutrition, and work force training is available to families who need a hand up.
Did you know that homeowners in the Habitat program put in over 350 sweat equity hours building their homes? Habitat homeowners turn the hand up they receive to then volunteer for other families, building a stronger family unit and community. Studies report children excel in school when they live in a stable home environment. Strength, stability and self-reliance through affordable homeownership is the building block of success for the family.
